What the terms mean: the disposition effect is selling winning trades more readily than losing ones. PGR and PLR are the shares of winning and losing positions that were sold; their ratio compares the two, and the t statistic says how far the result stands above noise. Glossary →

Quarterly re-check: the same measurement on a fresh extract, at 25% of the price of the engagement being repeated (for example $1,500 for a Memo), payable in advance, delivered in 5 business days.

Copy-trading platforms

The copy-leader persistence test: does your leader ranking predict what followers earn after copying costs and delay, out of sample and adjusted for luck? Sold to platforms only, never to followers, and not advice. It uses the engagements above, at the same prices:

Firms that make behaviour claims

The claims substantiation test: your marketing says your product changes how traders behave, and a sealed, pre-registered test checks whether that claim holds on your own users’ records. We report the result whether it supports the claim or not. It is not a certification, a verification or an audit. It uses the engagements above, at the same prices:

The law, in neutral terms (not legal advice). In Canada, the Competition Act treats as reviewable conduct a representation to the public, made to promote a product or a business interest, in the form of “a statement, warranty or guarantee of the performance, efficacy or length of life of a product that is not based on an adequate and proper test thereof, the proof of which lies on the person making the representation” (s. 74.01(1)(b)). Whether a particular test is adequate and proper for a particular claim is for you and your legal advisers to judge. We give no legal advice, and we don’t say that our test meets that standard.

Questions about price

Why publish prices?

So you know the cost before you write, and every firm pays the same.

Do you take card payments?

Yes. Once you accept the scope we send a secure Stripe payment link. Bank transfer, or Interac e-Transfer in Canada, also work.

What is the difference between the Trial, a Snapshot and a Memo?

The Trial is your first Snapshot at an introductory price, one per firm. A Snapshot is one figure for one population and period. A Memo adds your ratio set beside the public study’s, with the differences explained in writing.

Is the trial fee lost if we go ahead?

No — credited in full toward a Memo signed within 60 days of trial delivery.

Can the price change after we accept?

No — fixed in writing in the scope you accept.

After 31 March 2027?

New prices will be published here with a dated entry. Accepted engagements keep their price.

Does paying change the result?

No. Independence policy →
