FOR PROP FIRMS, BROKERS AND TRADING PLATFORMS
Measure the gap between your traders’ plans and their trades.
Traders plan how they will handle wins and losses. What they actually do can differ. We call that difference the plan gap, and we measure it. The first measure, available today: are your traders more likely to sell a winning trade than a losing one? Your staff run our public script on your own systems. Only totals come back to us. You get the number and a one-page report.
Low risk: if your own re-run of the script doesn’t give the same number, you get the full $745 back. Order a full Memo (the complete written measurement) within 60 days of trial delivery and the full $745 counts toward it.
Paid by card (secure Stripe link), bank transfer, or Interac e-Transfer in Canada. We reply within 1 business day. See all prices →
WHAT YOU GET BACK · SYNTHETIC SAMPLE
Synthetic test data, not real traders. These lines are the client script’s real output on its own made-up test file.
accounts: 30 PGR 0.2178 PLR 0.1119 ratio (PGR/PLR) 1.9470 t statistic 6.51 n gains (RG+PG) 1001 n losses (RL+PL) 1046
PGR: the share of winning positions that were sold. PLR: the same for losing positions. A ratio above 1 means winners were sold more readily.

Questions firms ask first
Is our data safe?
Your trading records never leave your systems. Your staff run our public script on your own computers, and you can read every line first. Only the totals it prints come back to us: no account IDs, no trades, no names.
What if no effect is found?
Then that is your answer, and it is a finished result. The price is fixed before anyone sees data, so you pay the same either way. The result stays private unless you choose to publish it.
Why trust someone who uses a pen name?
You don’t have to trust the person. Every number comes from a public script you can run yourself, and the studies, code and corrections are all public. The legal contracting party is named in the engagement agreement, before anything is paid.
What if the script reports errors on our data?
We help you fix the extract by email. The delivery clock pauses while we do, and nothing extra is charged. If it still can’t be made to run, a trial is refunded in full; for other engagements either side can stop, and only completed work is billed.
How fast is it?
We reply within 1 business day. The trial takes 5 business days; a Snapshot 10 business days, a Memo 15 business days and an Outcomes pack 20 business days. The clock starts when payment is received and the script’s output comes back without errors.
What does it cost?
The trial is $745 USD, and the full fee counts toward a Memo signed within 60 days of trial delivery. A Snapshot is $2,500, a Memo $6,000 and an Outcomes pack $12,000 (USD). You pay by invoice: bank transfer, or Interac e-Transfer in Canada, or by card through a secure Stripe link. No cancellation fees. All prices →
Can we publish the result?
Yes, if you want to. You decide; nothing about your data is published without your consent. You may say the figure was “measured by donttrade under a fixed-scope agreement”, and nothing stronger: never audited, certified or verified.
Who’s behind it
donttrade is one person, writing under a pen name, based in Canada. Every study names the script that made its numbers, or says plainly when it is still to follow, so you check the work, not the author. About →
